Public-private partnerships key to address shortage of skills and gender balance in aviation
9 October, 2019 (London Stansted, UK). Kick-starting a campaign to encourage STEM within technical schools and amongst students, Europe’s business aviation industry - led by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) together with the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) - is today calling on government and the private sector to come together and create skills centres to address workforce challenges and gender balance in aviation.

European business aviation industry calls on EU and national legislators to prioritise the creation of inclusive aviation strategies
26 September, 2019 (Vienna). The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), jointly with the Austrian Business Aviation Association (ABAA), has called on European and national legislative and regulatory authorities to engage in a constructive dialogue with the industry, to design inclusive and ambitious aviation policies for all airspace stakeholders.

Changes to non-objection procedures for flights to and from Russia
Operations to and from Russia by non-Russian operators need to obtain approval 5 days prior to the flight and a "non-objection" from 8 Russian operators. RUBAA (Russian United Business Aviation Association) informed us that the rules came out but without clear guidance or processes in place.
