European Business Aviation Association and industry young professionals join forces to develop business aviation sustainability guidance and label
23 October 2019 (Brussels). The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has committed to working with a newly formed project team of business aviation young professionals to develop and introduce an industry-wide sustainability label. The programme seeks to help EBAA member organisations play an even greater role in addressing social and environmental issues through awareness raising, best practices sharing and tailored guidance.

Public-private partnerships key to address shortage of skills and gender balance in aviation
9 October, 2019 (London Stansted, UK). Kick-starting a campaign to encourage STEM within technical schools and amongst students, Europe’s business aviation industry - led by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) together with the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) - is today calling on government and the private sector to come together and create skills centres to address workforce challenges and gender balance in aviation.

Long-awaited Datalink exemption is a welcome change for Business aviation
16 July, 2019 (Brussels). The European Business Aviation Association welcomes the updated rules on equipping aircraft with data link services for the Single European Sky, and specifically the exemption for most of the aircraft used by the business aviation sector.

The Board of Governors of the European Business Aviation Association are pleased to announce that we have appointed long-standing aviation professional Athar Husain Khan as Secretary General. He will assume responsibilities for leading the Association Secretariat on 2 July.

EBAA holds joint roundtable at Shannon Airport with MEP Deirdre Clune
22 June 2018 - SHANNON, County Clare, Ireland - In association with MEP Deirdre Clune (Ireland South) and Shannon Airport, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) today is holding its ‘Meet Your MEP’ event at Shannon Airport in the company of key stakeholders from the region and beyond. Meet Your MEP is an opportunity for members of the European Parliament to meet with leading Business Aviation (BizAv) operators in their region in order to discuss the contributions of, and issues particular to, Europe’s EUR87 billion and almost 400,000-person strong BizAv industry.
