So far, the 2020s have been an interesting time for European Business aviation. Most upsetting, are the unfortunate routes taken that includes notions of banning, or increasing taxation which could simply deter the entire industry from operating and developing sustainable technologies.

Brussels, 14 July 2022. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) welcomes the decision by the European Parliament to introduce an amendment to RefuelEU, considering the possible introduction of a book and claim system for SAF across the Union. The amendment followed a dedicated campaign by aviation stakeholders together with EBAA to help avoid unnecessary logistics and bureaucracy, and increase the use by Business aviation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
