Any project related to EGNOS based avionics solutions development and installation is eligible. Any solution which would enable and facilitate the use of EGNOS for all airspace users is also part of the scope, such as activities to develop EGNOS capabilities within flight simulators, validation tools, training materials, develop and/or implement EGNOS based solutions for drones’ operations. Any activity about designing and implementing other communication, navigation and surveillance applications benefitting from EGNOS for all phases of flight can also be submitted.  Would you like to partner with a service provider (air navigation and/or aerodrome) to deploy EGNOS based Operations (RNP APCH/PinS procedures to LPV/LPV200 minima, low-level IFR routes and advanced operations), these are also eligible projects.

EBAA highly supports and promotes the deployment of all EGNOS-based applications. This grant option is a great opportunity to boost these technologies, in particular in consideration of the Commission’s navigation strategy which will be EGNOS-focused for CAT 1 operations as of 2030.
