Vacancy – Communications Officer
Representing more than 500 aircraft operators, ground services, business airports and the wider ecosystem around business aviation, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) exists to enable responsible, sustainable growth for business aviation, enhancing connectivity and creating opportunities.
EBAA was founded in 1977 to defend the interests of business aviation and provides value to its members and society by promoting best practices in safety and environmental sustainability, efficient and proportionate rule-making and increased connectivity within Europe.
EBAA has a small team of international professionals based in our Brussels office, who support our European members. The position will be based in our Brussels offices but also requires some European travel.
As Communications Officer you will report to Róman Kok, the Communications Manager within the public affairs team of EBAA. As part of this team, you are responsible for helping develop and deliver excellent communications on EBAA’s work. You will also coordinate closely with the association’s policy experts.
About the role:
• You support EBAA’s digital communications channels on a daily basis, developing and designing relevant and engaging content.
• You manage EBAA’s weekly internal and external newsletters in a consistent and timely manner.
• Deliver on campaign and advocacy objectives, in collaboration with policy and communications colleagues, and where applicable project partners.
• Monitor information relevant to EBAA’s priorities and network, and ensure its rapid dissemination.
• Produce and support content preparation for various EBAA communications channels and purposes.
• In coordination with the EBAA data department, help develop and implement an effective strategy to enhance EBAA’s impact online, for example through web analytics reporting.
• Ensure that EBAA’s databases and mailing lists are maintained and up to date, in coordination with the membership team.
• Draft press releases and other relevant materials for national and international media.
• Coordinate incoming media enquiries from journalists and other stakeholders and report on EBAA’s press coverage.
• Update, maintain and develop EBAA’s website.
• Support EBAA’s events onsite throughout Europe.
• Support the communications and marketing activities for EBAA’s flagship event, EBACE, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage and utilise HubSpot as the primary CRM and email marketing tool.
Requirements:
• Between two and up to five years of professional experience.
• A degree in a relevant field, such as Communications, Political Sciences or European Studies.
• Competency in CMS and CRM systems, HubSpot, social media and other relevant communications tools.
• Understanding of EU transport policies and decision-making processes is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with the Brussels-focused EU media landscape.
• Ability to communicate persuasively and explain complex and technical information clearly and succinctly.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to build productive working relationships with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Native-level command of English required; other EU languages are an asset.
• Interest in, and a passion for, aviation is considered a plus.
• Motivation to work in support of the European business aviation community.

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – EBACE
Contract: January 2026 to June 8th 2026
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to support the commercial team during the core exhibition sales period. This role sits at the front end of the sales process and is focused on outbound outreach, qualifying interest, and setting up strong, well-prepared meetings for the Account Managers.
You’ll be in regular contact with potential exhibitors and partners, helping to identify genuine opportunities and making sure prospects are ready for a meaningful sales conversation. Your work will directly support the conversion of interest into meetings and, ultimately, confirmed sales.
What you’ll be doing
- Researching and identifying potential exhibitors and partners that fit EBACE’s target profiles
- Reaching out to prospects by email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce EBACE and assess interest
- Qualifying leads against agreed criteria before passing them to Account Managers
- Scheduling meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team, and making sure they are properly confirmed and prepared
- Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date, including outreach activity, responses, and meeting outcomes
- Sharing feedback from conversations with prospects to help refine messaging and sales priorities
What we’re looking for
- Experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales, ideally in a B2B, events, or exhibition environment
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with proactive, outbound outreach and relationship-building
- Experience using a CRM system such as HubSpot

Sales Administration & Invoicing Support – EBACE
Contract: January 2026 to June 8th 2026
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Administration & Invoicing Support professional to help keep the EBACE sales operation running smoothly during the lead-up to the event. This role is focused on CRM accuracy, pipeline tracking, and invoicing coordination, ensuring that sales data, contracts, and invoices all align.
You’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role, supporting both the sales and events teams and helping maintain clarity and consistency throughout the sales process.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and maintaining the EBACE CRM, keeping exhibitor, prospect, and sales records accurate and complete
- Tracking the sales pipeline, including leads, verbal confirmations, contracts, and signed exhibitors
- Making sure meetings, follow-ups, and sales activity are properly logged
- Coordinating with the finance team to ensure invoices are issued correctly and on time
- Tracking payments and outstanding invoices, and supporting follow-up where needed
- Supporting internal reporting and updates on sales progress
- Providing general administrative support to the sales and events teams during the sales phase

- Experience in sales administration, CRM management, invoicing, or event operations

Audience Development Manager – Operators
Contract: January 2026 to June 8th 2026
The Audience Development Manager – Operators is responsible for attracting a high-quality visitor audience, with a particular focus on operators, senior executives, and other priority profiles. The goal is simple: ensure exhibitors meet the right people and that EBACE delivers real business value for attendees.
This role combines targeted outreach, relationship management, and market insight. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to grow attendance among high-impact visitor groups and strengthen EBACE’s reputation as a must-attend event.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and delivering a focused outreach plan to attract operators and senior decision-makers
- Proactively engaging priority contacts by phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person where relevant
- Identifying key organisations, associations, and industry clusters to drive targeted participation
- Building and maintaining relationships with VIP and high-value visitor profiles
- Clearly communicating the value of EBACE, including programme highlights, networking opportunities, and exhibitor relevance
- Working with marketing and operations on initiatives such as tailored networking or curated visitor pathways
- Aligning closely with the exhibitor sales team to ensure visitor acquisition supports commercial objectives

Account Manager – Exhibition Sales
Contract: January 2026 to June 8th 2026
This role focuses on growing the exhibitor base by converting first-time exhibitors, while also managing relationships with returning exhibitors in the standard placement category. You’ll help new exhibitors understand the value of EBACE and support them from contract signature through to onsite delivery.
You’ll work closely with marketing and operations to ensure exhibitors are well-prepared and get the most from their participation.
What you’ll be doing
- Targeting and converting first-time exhibitors to increase overall participation
- Managing existing standard placement accounts and identifying opportunities to improve their presence
- Supporting new exhibitors with onboarding, timelines, and operational guidance
- Working with marketing to maximise visibility and promotional opportunities for new exhibitors
- Maintaining regular contact with exhibitors throughout the show cycle and onsite
- Recording all activity, conversations, and insights in the CRM
How success is measured

Account Manager – Exhibition Registration

The Account Manager – Registration is responsible for handling all registration-related enquiries for EBACE. This is a customer-facing role focused on providing clear, timely, and professional support from the opening of registration through to onsite delivery.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth registration experience for exhibitors, visitors, VIPs, and partners, and in supporting efficient event operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the main point of contact for registration enquiries by email, phone, and CRM
- Answering questions on registration categories, access rights, deadlines, and pricing
- Supporting users with amendments, cancellations, and technical registration issues
- Managing registration records and ensuring attendee data is accurate and complete
- Coordinating with sales, marketing, and operations to resolve registration-related issues
- Supporting badge allocation, access validation, and special registration requirements
- Providing onsite registration support and handling escalated cases during the event
- Tracking enquiries and registration activity to support reporting and trend analysis
